I thought I would dredge the lethe and show some respect to Ki Crumpton, who in the late 90's/early 2000's, was crushing every big rail in SLO county. Yes, this is the guy who first hit the infamous SLO high rail but to his credit, Ki could really skate anything. Plus he's a pretty damn good drummer. Take in the fact that Corey Hartung (hope it's cool I used these) shot these photos over fifteen years ago and trip out on how scary all of these tricks would be to try now!

In Living Color
I typically don't post photos that are in the current issues of unearthed but this had to be an exception. Max Reisbord giving a mid 2000's trick life again. Photo by Jeff Davis.

unearthed Issue 9
It's been a long time comin' but Issue 9 of unearthed is hot off the presses! This issue features Dan Bruhns on the cover, a tribute to Bart Steed, a retrospect on the Morro Bay DIY, an unearthed Frank Gerwer feature, and an interview with legendary Dinosaur Jr. bassist, Lou Barlow.
You can currently find unearthed at Skate Warehouse and Boo Boo Records in SLO, as well as Wavelengths and the Skate Museum in Morro Bay.
Special thanks to Nick Walters, Adam Ottenberg, Tristan McGinness, Lucas Davenport and everyone else who contributed in making this issue possible.
