the REC is on the come up....again. It's just as bad as ever: complete with rusty old appliances, broken glass and the usual nail ridden wood ramps. Get there before it's gone.

No matter how big a handrail is, when it's the first spot of the day it's easy to come up with an excuse to not skate it.  Despite sucking a taking photos, I happily hid behind the lens while Zach made quick work of this rail.

So we here at Unearthed/Jazzpush headquarters came up with a brilliant way to promote skateboarding without actually skateboarding. The answer my friend, is modeling, and none of that Team Handsome crap either, those guys actually skate. Instead we got someone clueless enough to compete with Nike! By the time you read this, everyone in the Jazzpush Video has been kicked off from sticker flow and are now replaced by the above. Who needs tricks when you have a double mall grab with attitude? Hopefully this will become the multi-million dollar marketing scheme we've been looking for. Get ready for the big bucks boys, because we're ready to cash in! Photo by the Eli Stein talent agency.

Perks of a Poor Economy

Sacramento is stocked full of abandoned buildings that make weekday skating a go.  This barren industrial spot would get anybody hyped to skate.  If you have never seen Lee Yankou's Think ad bashing the top of this thing, I'd suggest it!
