Sometimes skating a spot can lead to finding something completely new that you would have never seen if if it weren't your friends. This ollie by Billy Perry is a perfect example of that.

The Week in Skate Videos

There has been a drought in local videos as of late but this week came through with some good skating.

"Short n' Sweet" by BUTT3Rskate

The first video features some solid footage of Joey Johnson, Ryan Molinar, Ty Hjortland, and Dylan Strassel. The main trick that stood out was Joey's switch ollie down the Morro El six stair. I know kickflip was done years ago but a switch ollie is way gnarlier in my humble opinion.

The next vid is some LA spots mixed with the beloved Slo Park. I was especially into the bank footage at the end. Speaking of banks, do you know what that rainbow bank used to look like?

I've never really talked to this guy before. All I know is that he skates well and skates fast.

More wonderful skatepark footage! Well I honestly was not a big fan of Vito until I went skating with him this last weekend. In encounters before, he came off as a cocky little bastard that just happened to be pretty good at skating. What I realized is that he's just a damn skate rat. Vito is okay in my book.
